Note: These lamps are typically used in range hoods. Range hood lamp lengths can vary from brand to brand, from unit to unit within a brand, and can even be different from location to location on the same range hood. The typical lamp length is about 73mm and so is what we typically ship. We find that customer original lamps range from 68-76mm in length. If our lamp is slightly shorter than your original lamp then it may be necessary to bend the center tab in your socket out so that the tab makes contact with the socket. If our lamp is slightly longer than your lamp it does not usually create a problem but in rare cases it prevents a retainer ring from going back on after installation in which case, while the lamp will work, you will need a shorter lamp to get the ring back on the range hood. Providing an accurate measurement of your lamp prior to ordering, from the bottom of the socket to the top edge of the glass bowl, will allow us to select a product that best matches your original.
